The day finally came. I went back to work today. EEK!
It was, actually, not as bad as I had expected, though leaving the house in darkness and returning home in darkness was a crash back to reality.
The routine seems to have good promise, with Steve and Harrison taking me to work and collecting me at the end of the day, meaning I'm only away from Harrison for my actual working hours, and not the additional commute time. This meant I could read to Harrison in the car and have some more quality time with him.
I even made a wee vlog about it. Click the link if you want to check it out...

I've decided to work from 8am to 4pm, so I shall get Harrison up and ready at 6:30, once I've gotten myself ready, and we all leave the house at 7am (or a little later when the weather isn't as catastrophically bad as it was today - I swear, Noah and his Ark cut us off at one point). We should all get home before 5pm in the afternoon, leaving plenty of time to eat, play, read, have bath time, and put H to bed before doing Eventual Mother stuff and heading to bed myself.
In theory, it should all work rather well...in theory.
I must admit, I was exhausted today, with Harrison only allowing me a broken 5 hour sleep last night, but I'm hoping he's a bit kinder to me tonight.
So far, so good. We shall see how it all continues, but I think we have a good system planned out, so, hopefully, it'll all go swimmingly.
Thanks for all your kind words of support and encouragement, folks. It's greatly appreciated xxx
