Enjoying some home cooked food.
This kid certainly likes his food. No doubt about it.
It's actually my last day of freedom today. Tomorrow I return to work after a year of maternity - eek!
I shan't lie; I'm not looking forward to it.
I know it'll be fine, I'll be fine, Harrison, most importantly, will be fine, but I'd rather continue to spend my days indulging in his early experiences. I like tracking time by nappy changes, instead of conference calls. I enjoy my boss being a crazed lunatic that rewards me with giggles and punishes me with bites.
I've loved every second of my maternity leave. I've not felt frustrated by Harrison in the slightest during that time, he's been an absolute pleasure, even at 3am when I'm tired and he's fully energised.
I am, however, really excited for my husband, Steve, who will be taking over parental duties during the day. I'm actually quite excited to see how their relationship develops with the additional one on one time together.
I shall, of course, write about all of these things as the unfold.
Until then...I should probably go to bed and prep for an early start (boooooo)
Wish me luck xx
